Danielle and Jared’s Chicago engagement session felt effortlessly romantic and so true to who they are!
We started the afternoon at Ciccio Mio, the cutest Italian restaurant in the city. The classic Italian charm made for the perfect setting for a cozy, intimate start to their session. With quiet moments tucked into a corner booth and so much laughter together, this part of the session felt like peeking in on a cozy date night.
Next, we headed to the Chicago Cultural Center which offered a beautiful contrast with its grand architecture and soft, natural light. The elegant staircases and iconic details gave us a refined, editorial feel while still letting Danielle and Jared’s connection shine through effortlessly.
We wrapped things up by stepping outside and exploring the streets of Chicago including the DuSable Bridge, the Wrigley Building and North Avenue Beach to take advantage of the skyline views. These final moments were playful, natural, and full of movement, a reminder that some of the most meaningful photos come from authentic movement and being present together.
This session felt like such a perfect reflection of Danielle and Jared’s love for each other and for the city they call home. Capturing this session for them was an absolute joy and I can’t wait to continue documenting their story as we head toward their wedding day.
